What this site is

No Curveball is a public baseball research site. You can browse players, games, and league plots without creating an account. There is no marketing list and no login wall.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email, or password. There are no user accounts on this site. Player search is a same-origin lookup against our player directory — it is not a profile of you.

The numbers on the pages are public baseball measurements (Statcast-era pitches and MLB season stats), not information about visitors.

Analytics

If you accept, we load Google Tag Manager so Google Analytics can record which pages you open and which controls you use (links, filters, search, share). That helps us see what research is useful. We do not run ads, and we do not send advertising storage even if you accept.

If you decline, analytics cookies stay off. You can change the choice later from Cookie settings in the footer. The choice is stored in this browser only.

Cookies

Analytics cookies are optional and only set after you accept. Ordinary browsing without that acceptance does not require a tracking cookie. An operator-only cookie may be set after a secret is presented to the hidden operations page. That cookie is for the person who runs the site, not for tracking readers.

Hosting

The app is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, they see standard request logs (IP address, user agent, the page you asked for) so the site can stay up. We do not sell that information.
